🏆 Why Choose Megabass Megadog-X?
The Megabass Megadog-X combines an oversized baitfish profile with a distinctive surface action designed to provoke reaction strikes.
Its Mega Power Long Slide Action allows the lure to glide widely across the water, while more aggressive rod movements create splashes and surface disturbance.
The patented Double Inertial Balancer System helps stabilise the lure during retrieval, providing consistent movement and improved control despite its substantial size.
For anglers targeting large pike with topwater techniques, the Megadog-X offers a powerful and versatile surface presentation.
💡 Pro Angler Tip
Fish the Megabass Megadog-X 18cm with short, rhythmic rod twitches and controlled reel turns to create its signature walk-the-dog action.
Try longer pauses between movements when fish are following without striking. For more aggressive fish, increase your rod action to create additional splashes and surface disturbance.
Use a suitably rated heavy spinning or baitcasting rod and a bite-resistant leader when targeting pike.
